Friday Five 02/12/16
If you haven’t noticed, or maybe live under a rock (I don’t judge, you do you), it’s Valentine’s Day this weekend. If You Know An Intimidating Woman, She’s Probably A Capricorn
I can’t tell you how many times men have told me I come across as aloof, and intimidating. I don’t mean to be, but that’s just the way it is. Just read this incredible story of perseverance. You won’t regret it.
Chinese Pensioners Keep Historic Opera Alive
Some traditions need to be kept alive…I cannot imagine this dying out! I saw La Bohème for the first time at the Vienna Opera, and it was incredible. It’s kind of hard to put how I felt into words, but I won’t forget the emotions it evoked in me. To let a 200 year old operatic tradition die is a travesty!
Van Gogh’s Bedroom Has Been Re-Created And You Can Sleep In It
This is just amazing, I honestly wish I could travel to Chicago and spend a night there. I imagine it would be a rather trippy feeling, considering that’s what Van Gogh evokes in me.
Happy Friday!
